In today’s world of social media, as we see more and more women enter the world of entrepreneurship they are finding a multitude of help and insight by utilizing the Internet. We all know that the Internet plays a very important part to any business, even those who have been established for hundreds of years. Both large and small companies can benefit by utilizing the Internet.
After putting a lot of time and effort into researching some of the top sites that women entrepreneurs can utilize while delving into the business world I have come up with a fairly well inclusive list of websites that can be utilized. Remember that it will depend upon the type of business you are starting or maintaining as far as which of these sites will be most useful. I tried to find sites that will help women entrepreneurs in particular. Each of these sites I have spent a substantial amount of time reviewing to ensure that they are not only useful for women entrepreneurs but contain material that is both substantial in content as well as accurate.
Here is a list of websites that I feel may be of use to those women entrepreneurs who are looking for guidance:
Women in Business is an online destination for the news and information women need to be successful in the business world from today’s thought leaders.
Chic CEO offers information for starting a business, as well as conferences and an online forum.
Startup Princess brings successful women entrepreneurs together with women business owners for networking connections, resources, & coaching for women.
EWomen Network is an exclusive membership community of success-minded women who are serious about networking, helping others and transacting business. eWomen offers in-person events, boith within the US and international.
Ladies Who Launch offers a large community that provides resources and connections for women entrepreneurs. This is a membership organization with chapters in major cities where women meet to talk about business issues.
Young Female Entrepreneurs is an online platform that connects entrepreneurial women in their 20s and 30s with new people, brands, and headlines that help them start and grow businesses.
The Mompreneur is all about women managing and growing a business at the same time that they are raising their children.
The Secret of Success Blog – Women Entrepreneurs Radio tips and advice from a gamut of interviewed women entrepreneurs.
The Business Woman Women’s Blogging Site is the UK’s premier blog site where women blog about their lives and businesses.
I hope that you will find this list extremely useful as you begin or continue to grow your business as a woman. It is hard enough to be an entrepreneur in today’s world; add to the equation the factor of being a minority business (owned by a woman) and the job can become even harder. I truly feel that while women are a minority business owner they are also well-equipped to handle the stresses and everyday issues that an entrepreneur is handed.
Working together, women entrepreneurs can establish a solid social media with other women entrepreneurs. Gender does not always have to come into play; however, when it does it is important that we stand behind our fellow women entrepreneurs by providing as much information and help as we can.
I hope you find this list of websites for women entrepreneurs useful. If you would like to add any sites that you feel have made a difference in your business or in helping you build your business as a female entrepreneur, I welcome your comments and sharing of the websites you feel have helped you.
