There are lots of business competitions for just about every type of business. Many entrepreneurs use these contest to build credibility, social proof, and even get funding for their start-ups. Financial Services Start-Up Competition

For entrepreneurs who have or want to start up a financial services business, here’s a way to get access to 300,000 customers. TradeKing , an online stock and option broker, is sponsoring a series of pitch events in October. Twelve winners will be selected and awarded a one year scholarship to the One Million by One Million online mentorship program, as well as access to the TradeKing distribution channel to bring their products to market. I admire those who have started the competition for women entrepreneurs because they really do deserve to be seen, heard, and given the chance to prove themselves more.
